Rockets 2023-2024 season in review: Jae’Sean Tate
I think you can probably have Jae’Sean Tate squarely in the “Least likely to be a Rocket much longer” column. When he signed a three-year, $20 million deal in 2022, it seemed like a pretty good bargain for the utility player. He was coming off of a season in which he averaged 11.8 points per game, and though the ceiling was always pretty low, so was the floor due to Tate’s high court IQ, and he seemed perfect on a developing team.
